Transfer a .uk Domain Name to redIT

Nominet, the operator of the UK’s national domain name registry (.co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .net.uk) require you to inform both the current domain registration provider and the registrar you are moving the domain too.

We recommend informing your new Domain Registrar first so that everything is ready for when the domain is migrated.

With redIT this is done simply by placing an order for your domain name but by selecting the "Transfer" option:

Domain Transfer

For a UK Domain name transfer there is no automatic renewal fee so you should not need to pay anything for transferring the domain into your new registrar.

Once this order has been completed, you will need to go to your current domain name registrar and give them our ISPTag, this is how you confirm where you are moving the domain too.

Our ISPTag is REDIT

Please Note: Some registrars require a release or transfer out fee to be paid before a domain is allowed to be migrated to another provider
